Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our cafe team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing a variety of baked goods, including artisan breads and desserts, with strong attention to quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake sourdough bread, ciabatta, pizza dough, and desserts
Follow recipes to ensure consistent taste and appearance
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ingredient quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking area
Manage inventory and report ingredient shortages
Collaborate with the team on new menu items

Requirements

Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
Knowledge of dough fermentation and handling techniques
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Passion for baking and creativity

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with artisan or specialty breads
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
