Description
We are looking for the below role urgently, you will be joining a fast growing startup kitchen, you will have the ability to become a supervisor and move up career with this position.
Responsibilities:
Bake and prepare a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts from scratch
Develop and test new recipes
Manage inventory and ensure the kitchen is properly stocked with baking supplies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Participate in menu planning and development
Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional pastry kitchen
Strong understanding of baking techniques and principles
Experience with working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Creative and innovative approach to pastry making
A meticulous eye for detail and presentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
