Job purpose

Provide professional barber services to compound residents and employees while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming barber shop.

Key responsibilities
Provide haircuts, beard trimming, shaving, and other approved grooming services.
Welcome clients, manage appointments and walk-ins, and communicate waiting times.
Clean and disinfect tools, chairs, and work surfaces after each client.
Use fresh towels and capes for each client and dispose of used blades safely.
Keep equipment in good working condition and report faults or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Display the approved service list, prices, and operating hours, and charge only approved rates.
Maintain daily records of services and payments as required by compound management.
Follow compound access, hygiene, safety, and customer service procedures.
Handle complaints politely and refer unresolved issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications and skills
Previous experience as a barber, preferably in a residential compound, hotel, or similar setting.
Ability to perform a range of haircuts and beard styles.
Good personal hygiene, customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to communicate with clients in English or Arabic is preferred.

Performance expectations: The barber shop opens on time, serves clients courteously, follows approved prices, and remains clean and hygienic throughout operating hours.
