Description
BUILDING CARETAKER – responsible for the overall SECURITY, MAINTENANCE/REPAIR, and CLEANLINESS of the property/building.
SECURITY
Monitor security system, including CCTV and intruder alarms.
Conduct regular patrols of the building and grounds.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
Perform minor repairs.
Monitor and operate building systems like heating, lighting, and water to ensure they are functional.
Arrange and supervise external contractors for major maintenance or specialist repair work.
Carry out regular safety checks on fire alarms and emergency lighting.
CLEANING & GROUNDS UPKEEP
Maintain the cleanliness of communal areas.
Perform ground maintenance tasks.
Manage waste disposal.
