Job Summary

We are looking for a CCTV Camera Monitoring Officer to monitor our supermarket operations during the night shift and identify any security, theft, shoplifting, operational, or safety-related risks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous CCTV monitoring, identifying suspicious activities or irregularities, checking CCTV system functionality, and immediately reporting important observations to the Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities

- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras throughout the night shift.
- Monitor customers, cashiers, employees, entrances, exits, storage areas, and other critical locations.
- Identify and report potential theft, shoplifting, suspicious activities, or security risks.
- Monitor night-shift employees and operational activities for irregularities or violations.
- Identify unusual or suspicious customer and employee behavior.
- Immediately escalate serious incidents to the Operations Team.
- Monitor the operational status of CCTV cameras and identify cameras that are offline, unclear, damaged, or malfunctioning.
- Perform basic CCTV configuration, troubleshooting, and technical checks.
- Maintain proper records of incidents and observations.
- Prepare a daily/nightly CCTV monitoring report and submit it to the Operations Team.
- Review recorded footage when required for incident investigation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV footage and company information.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Networking, CCTV/Security Systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience in CCTV monitoring and surveillance is required.
- Practical experience in CCTV configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of DVR/NVR systems, CCTV cameras, recording systems, and basic networking.
- Strong observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify suspicious activities and potential security risks.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Previous experience in supermarkets, retail, warehouses, or commercial facilities will be an advantage.

Compensation

Monthly Salary: SAR 2,000 – 3,000
Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's CCTV experience, IT/technical qualifications, troubleshooting capability, and overall competency.
