Description
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage end-to-end finance for a diversified group structure, covering multiple operating companies and a holding entity. The role requires strong experience in group consolidation, cross-entity control, and centralized finance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group-Level Financial Control
• Oversee accounting and finance functions across all group entities
• Ensure uniform accounting policies and chart of accounts across companies
• Review and finalize monthly MIS for each business and consolidated group
2. Consolidation & Intercompany Management
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations
• Monitor fund flows between holding and operating companies
3. Business Unit Oversight
• Supervise finance for F&B outlets, gyms, and other verticals
• Track profitability by branch/outlet/business unit
• Implement cost control measures (food cost, payroll, overheads, etc.)
4. Budgeting & MIS
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts across all entities
• Provide detailed MIS reports with actionable insights
• Analyze variances and advise management on performance improvements
5. Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT, regulatory, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors and manage annual audits for all entities
• Strengthen internal controls and approval processes
6. Cash Flow & Banking
• Manage group cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships
• Optimize working capital across entities
• Support funding, loans, and financial structuring
7. Systems & Process Setup
• Implement and manage ERP/accounting systems across the group
• Standardize processes for scalability and control
• Drive automation and reporting efficiency
Requirements
• Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
• 5–10 years experience in group companies / family business setups
• Strong experience in multi-entity accounting and consolidation
• Exposure to F&B, retail, or service industries preferred
• Knowledge of Bahrain/GCC compliance and VAT
• Hands-on approach (not just supervisory)
