A leading Road Freight & Logistics Company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Chief Accountant to play a key role in strengthening and developing our Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team while ensuring efficient workload distribution and high performance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and banking transactions.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the complete accounting cycle.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, ZATCA, and all statutory reporting requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and analytical insights for the Finance Manager.
- Build a high-performing accounting team through coaching, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or in a similar leadership role.
- Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and lead a professional accounting team within a structured corporate environment.
