As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial aspects of our operations, focusing on maximizing profitability, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the waste management sector.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team and be responsible for strategic planning, contract negotiations, and driving commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial strategy to grow revenue and market share within the waste management industry.
• Manage and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and tender processes.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customers’ needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team, ensuring KPIs and objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a commercial role within the waste management or environmental services sector.
• Strong knowledge of the waste management industry, including regulations and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports, budgets, and business performance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
