About the Role

​We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to oversee, analyze, and optimize all financial operational expenses at our date processing facility. You will manage batch costing from raw date arrival (Ajwa, Sukkari, Khudri) through sorting, pit removal, packaging, and cold storage distribution to minimize yield loss and enforce high-efficiency spending.

​Key Responsibilities

​Raw Material Tracking: Monitor local farm yield pricing, raw date grading, and arrival volume costs.
​Production Batch Costing: Calculate precise unit and batch costs across washing, sorting, pitting, and filling workflows.
​Packaging & Utilities Control: Direct oversight of expenses for cold storage refrigeration, factory utilities, vacuum seals, and packaging boxes.
​Inventory & Scrap Audit: Track stock variance and control seasonal scrap during peak harvest and Ramadan schedules.
​Financial Reporting & Variance: Analyze operational spending against quarterly budgets and deliver actionable financial variance reports to executive management.

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Experience: 3 to 7 years in cost accounting within food processing, FMCG, or heavy manufacturing environment.
​Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and expert-level Excel financial modeling.
​Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
