Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and creative Female Kitchen Assistant with experience in pastry and chocolate to join our team at Bon Chocolate, a leading artisanal chocolatier known for handcrafted, premium desserts. As part of our kitchen team, you will support the production of our signature Bons, pastries, and exclusive seasonal creations. Your skills, creativity, and attention to detail will help us elevate both our pastry line and chocolate collections.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and development of new pastry and chocolate recipes, combining flavors and ingredients to craft unique and delicious products
Help refine flavor profiles and contribute artistic ideas for chocolate finishes, pastry decoration, and visual presentation
Collaborate with the Head Chocolatier and Pastry Lead to design and execute seasonal and limited edition collections
Prepare and operate chocolate making equipment, including tempering machines, molds, and decorating tools
Support pastry preparation tasks: mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing baked goods
Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient, precise, and high quality output
Participate in quality control, tasting and evaluating pastries and chocolates for consistency and standards
Assist in maintaining inventory of pastry ingredients, chocolate materials, and supplies
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen following professional food safety practices

Requirements

Female candidate
Minimum 2 years experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, or chocolate/confectionery environment
Strong understanding of flavor pairing, ingredient behavior, and basic pastry techniques
Experience with decorating, glazing, painting, or artistic finishing of pastries or chocolates
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to precision and detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
Basic knowledge of chocolate tempering, ganache, and moulding techniques (training provided)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with artisanal chocolate or high end pastry production
Knowledge of cocoa, tempering, or bean to bar processes
Strong artistic skills in pastry or chocolate decoration
