Description
Job Summary
Four Horizons Company for Transportation is looking for 4 Fleet Coordinators to join our Transportation Operations team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring fleet movements, coordinating with drivers, tracking deliveries, monitoring GPS systems, managing operational alerts, and ensuring the smooth and timely execution of daily transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle & Route Monitoring
Monitor vehicle routes and ensure that vehicles reach their destinations within the scheduled time.
Report any delays caused by customers, road conditions, or circumstances beyond the company's control.
Driver & Delivery Note Follow-up
Follow up with drivers and ensure they immediately send a stamped copy of the Delivery Note to the designated group after delivery.
Follow up on the original Delivery Note and ensure it is delivered to the supervisors and forwarded to the office as soon as possible.
GPS Tracking & Fleet Monitoring
Continuously monitor the GPS tracking platform for all vehicles.
Send regular operational updates and required data to the designated group.
Monitor and respond to all alerts generated by the tracking platform.
Contact drivers who exceed the maximum permitted speed of 80 km/h.
Follow up with drivers who deviate from their assigned routes and ensure corrective action is taken.
Bayan Transportation Permits
Prepare and issue transportation permits through the Bayan Platform.
Follow up with drivers and ensure they receive the required permit before starting their trips.
Emergency & Critical Issue Reporting
Immediately report any suspected serious or critical issue to management, regardless of the time, to ensure a quick response and appropriate action.
Operational Records & Data
Maintain accurate and regularly updated records of loading and unloading activities.
Record all relevant notes regarding vehicles and drivers.
Maintain all operational and trip-related data for performance monitoring and easy reference.
Operational Instructions
Follow up on management instructions regarding the sequence and timing of vehicle departures.
Pay particular attention to vehicles loaded with cartons and ensure compliance with the operational plan.
Driver Complaints & Requests
Receive and handle drivers’ complaints, requests, and observations seriously and professionally.
Work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
Maintain mutual respect while ensuring that drivers follow company policies, procedures, and work standards.
Breakdown & Maintenance Coordination
Immediately report any roadside breakdowns or mechanical issues reported by drivers to the Maintenance Department.
Coordinate directly with the maintenance team to ensure a fast and effective response.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities related to operational requirements and departmental needs as directed by management.
Continuous Improvement
Report observations, recommendations, and suggestions to management that may contribute to improving departmental performance and developing operational procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in Fleet Coordination, Fleet Management, Transportation Operations, Logistics, or GPS Monitoring is preferred.
Experience in monitoring trucks and heavy vehicles is an advantage.
Good knowledge of GPS tracking systems.
Good computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records and operational data.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple vehicles and drivers simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to respond quickly to operational issues and emergencies.
Good command of English.
Arabic language is an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours according to operational requirements.
Salary SAR 2,500 – 3,000 per month
