Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Offshore Ship Chandler to lead our marine supply and offshore ship-chandling operations in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in offshore marine supply, ship chandling, procurement, logistics, vessel servicing, and commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall offshore ship-chandling and marine supply business.
Develop and execute commercial and operational strategies.
Oversee the supply of provisions, spare parts, equipment, consumables, and marine supplies to vessels and offshore facilities.
Manage relationships with vessel owners, operators, offshore companies, and key clients.
Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Manage P&L, budgets, pricing, margins, and cost control.
Oversee procurement, warehousing, logistics, and delivery operations.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies to vessels and offshore locations.
Manage suppliers and negotiate commercial agreements.
Ensure compliance with marine, HSE, quality, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
Monitor operational KPIs and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop the commercial and operational teams.
Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marine Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
10–15+ years of relevant experience in ship chandling, offshore supply, marine services, or related industries.
Proven experience in a General Manager or senior management position.
Strong knowledge of offshore and marine supply operations.
Strong commercial, negotiation, and business-development skills.
Experience managing P&L and large operational teams.
Established relationships within the marine, offshore, oil & gas sectors are highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Saudi marine/offshore market is preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
Valid Saudi Iqama is required.
Transferable Iqama is preferred.
Immediate or short-notice availability is an advantage.
