About Us:
Juliet Bake House is dedicated to delivering high-quality baked goods with consistent taste and presentation while maintaining food safety standards. We are seeking a Head Baker who will also oversee Quality Assurance to ensure every product meets our standards and to lead our baking team with passion and discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily bread, pastry, and specialty product preparation, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
• Develop and refine recipes while maintaining cost control and quality.
• Oversee quality checks on all products, raw materials, and processes.
• Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (FIFO, storage, cleanliness, temperature control).
• Train and supervise bakery staff to uphold production and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs in coordination with management.
• Assist in menu development and seasonal product innovation.
• Report daily production and quality issues to management.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7+ years of professional baking experience.
• Strong knowledge of bread and pastry preparation techniques.
• Experience in quality assurance within food production is an advantage.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
