Description
As Head Hostess, you will be the face of the restaurant, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality. You’ll oversee all front door operations, manage the reservation system, and lead a team of hostesses to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the restaurant’s image of sophistication and approachability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism, embodying the values of our brand
• Manage daily reservation flow, waitlist coordination, and guest seating
• Train, schedule, and supervise hostess team members
• Liaise with restaurant and hotel management on guest preferences, VIPs, and special requests
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and resolve
• Maintain the hostess stand and reception area in immaculate condition
• Coordinate with Marketing and Events teams on special functions and guestlists
• Generate and analyze guest feedback and reservation data to optimize seating strategy
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead or head hostess role, preferably in an upscale or luxury setting
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
• Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy, etc.)
• Exceptional grooming, presence, and communication skills
• Calm and organized under pressure; natural leader with a guest-first mindset
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
