Job Summary

The Household Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily management, cleanliness, and smooth functioning of the household. This role includes housekeeping, cooking, and meal planning for family members. The position requires a female, trustworthy, discreet, and culturally aligned individual who respects family values, privacy, and routines.

Key Responsibilities

Household Maintenance & Cleanliness

- Perform daily cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing clothes
- Manage waste disposal and ensure cleanliness of storage and utility areas

Cooking & Meal Preparation

- Plan daily and weekly meals for family members in coordination with the household
- Prepare home-cooked meals according to family preferences and dietary requirements
- Ensure food hygiene, proper storage, and kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with meal preparation for family gatherings or religious occasions when required
- Maintain an organized kitchen and monitor food supplies

Household Support

- Organize household items and maintain order in common areas
- Support family members with day-to-day household needs as requested
- Monitor household and kitchen supplies and report replenishment needs
- Follow household schedules and instructions accurately

Care, Conduct & Responsibility

- Handle household items, furniture, and appliances with care
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all family members
- Observe household customs, religious practices, and cultural values
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly

Skills & Competencies

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of home cooking and basic meal planning
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in a similar household role is preferred
- Experience in cooking for families is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials, kitchen equipment, and appliances
- Physically fit and able to perform routine household duties
