Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Smart Factory - Industrial Trainer to deliver hands-on technical training in the areas of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, automation systems, IIoT, and cyber-physical production systems. The trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that align with modern industrial technologies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on:
- PLCs and HMI systems
- SCADA and MES systems
- Industrial networks (Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA)
- Smart sensors and actuators
- IIoT platforms and edge devices
- Robotics and cobots
- Digital twins and simulation tools (e.g., Factory IO, Automation Studio, etc.)
Conduct training on smart factory technologies (e.g., predictive maintenance, OEE monitoring, smart manufacturing)
- Develop customized curriculum, lab manuals, and assessments aligned with industry standards
- Operate and maintain smart factory simulation labs and equipment
- Stay current with emerging Industry 4.0 technologies and certifications
- Design lesson plans, classroom/lab activities and assessment criteria
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback
- Support upskilling and reskilling programs for technical professionals and students
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation or smart manufacturing
- Hands-on expertise with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA systems
- Familiarity with Industry and safety standards
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging ways
