Description
Job Description:
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements.
• Perform the day to day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, statutory accounting, etc. To include monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of all Tax Return to NBR filings.
• Assist with annual Independent External Financial Audit file.
• Prepare reconciliation of Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable that include ( Broker , Customer, Garages, Reinsurance , Motor TP reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation)
• Prepare journal entries for approval and postings that include technical number ( Premium and claim)
• Test claims and underwriting reports for accuracy and proper implementation of controls.
• Maintain Adjustment, provision, prepayment, accruals working and ensure to post it in to system.
• Preparing receipt vouchers
• Preparing payment throughout Bank transfer or CHQ payment
• Prepare cash and bank reconciliation.
• Maintain documentation and files according to the financial and accounting procedures.
• Maintain intercompany ledgers.
• Balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
• Maintain control of credit control in the department and follow up with Broker , Customer, Reinsurance and other about all outstanding amounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
2) Insurance experience for at least 2 years.
3) Able to work effectively in a team environment.
4) Proficient in Windows based software. Strong Excel skills required.
5) Friendly, polite, organized and efficient.
6) Strong oral and written communication skills.
7) Bahraini Nationality
