We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, is eager to learn, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Record daily financial transactions and ensure all entries are properly documented
-Assist with data entry and ledger management in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP)
-Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and supplier accounts regularly
-Support the Accounts Payable process by verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, and preparing payments
-Handle Accounts Receivable by issuing invoices, following up on overdue payments, and recording receipts
-Track and monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation of cash disbursements
-Assist with monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
-Prepare supporting documents for financial reports, audits, and tax filings
-Help maintain fixed asset registers and update depreciation schedules
-Ensure VAT and other tax records are accurate and assist with filing as needed
-Support payroll processing by preparing summaries or journal entries (if applicable)
-Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions, both digitally and in physical files
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of inventory and cost accounting
-Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports
-Contribute to internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
-Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-5 years of accounting experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication
