We’re currently seeking a skilled and reliable Pastry & Hot Kitchen Cook to join our growing culinary team and contribute across multiple brand kitchens.

Job Summary:

The Pastry & Hot Kitchen Cook will support daily kitchen operations across both sweet and savory sections, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with company and municipal standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, versatility, and a collaborative attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cakes, Swiss rolls, and various pastries as directed by the chef in charge

Assist in pizza preparation and hot kitchen production as needed

Follow recipes and execute plating within your assigned menu section

Handle stock and inventory using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method

Maintain compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Ensure stations are well-stocked, especially during peak hours

Support the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff in line with brand standards

Monitor and minimize food waste; maintain accurate inventory and assist in cost control

Guide and oversee commis chefs to maintain consistency and presentation quality

Supervise storage areas and ensure alignment with health and safety regulations

Promote cleanliness, organization, and hygiene across all kitchen areas

Maintain professional conduct and respectful communication within the team

Handle equipment and tools responsibly, ensuring proper care and use

Stay calm under pressure and resolve kitchen conflicts professionally with senior chefs

Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team atmosphere

Requirements:

Previous kitchen experience in both pastry and savory sections

Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Professional appearance and team-oriented attitude

Preferred:

Formal culinary education or relevant certification

Experience working across different kitchen brands or concepts
