Description
We are hiring Payroll Officer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Calculate employee salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and other payments.
- Verify attendance, timesheets, leave records, and overtime approvals before payroll processing.
- Ensure salary calculations comply with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
2. Employee Salary and Benefits Administration
- Maintain accurate employee salary records, including basic salary, allowances, and other benefits.
- Process salary adjustments, increments, promotions, and other approved changes.
- Verify employee bank account details and ensure salary payments are processed correctly.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance regarding salary discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries.
3. Attendance and Leave Management
- Review attendance records, absence reports, late arrivals, and overtime submissions.
- Calculate salary deductions for unpaid leave, unauthorized absences, and other applicable cases.
- Coordinate with department managers to verify attendance and obtain necessary approvals.
4. Compliance and Statutory Requirements
- Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable labor laws and company policies in Saudi Arabia.
- Coordinate payroll-related requirements associated with GOSI, WPS, and other applicable statutory obligations.
- Maintain payroll documentation required for internal and external audits.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of payroll-related reports and records.
5. End-of-Service Benefits and Final Settlement
- Calculate employee final settlements, including outstanding salaries, leave balances, and end-of-service benefits, in coordination with HR.
- Verify employee salary records and deductions before processing final payments.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure timely settlement of employee dues.
6. Payroll Reconciliation and Reporting
- Reconcile monthly payroll against employee records, attendance reports, and approved salary changes.
- Prepare monthly payroll summaries, salary registers, overtime reports, and deduction reports.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before salary disbursement.
- Assist in preparing payroll budgets and salary cost reports when required.
7. Employee Records and Confidentiality
- Ensure payroll information is accessible only to authorized personnel.
8. Coordination and Internal Controls
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Administration, and project departments to collect payroll information.
- Obtain the required approvals before processing payroll payments and adjustments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant payroll documents.
- Recommend improvements to payroll procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of payroll processing and salary calculations.
- Understanding of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, WPS, and relevant payroll compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRMS/payroll systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict payroll deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Accuracy of monthly payroll calculations.
- Timely salary processing and disbursement.
- Number of payroll errors and unresolved discrepancies.
- Compliance with payroll deadlines and statutory requirements.
- Accuracy of payroll records and reconciliation reports.
