Description

Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi labor regulations.

The role includes maintaining payroll records, calculating salaries and deductions, managing employee benefits, and coordinating with HR and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
Calculate salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
Ensure payroll complies with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, WPS (where applicable), and company policies.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, resignations, salary changes, and promotions.
Prepare end-of-service benefits (EOSB), leave encashment, and final settlements.
Coordinate with HR to ensure employee attendance, leave, and overtime records are accurate.
Generate payroll reports for management and Finance.
Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, and payroll-related matters.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Support payroll audits and ensure all payroll documentation is properly maintained.
Coordinate with banks for salary transfers and resolve payment-related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
Experience with payroll software and HRMS/ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, etc.).

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and calculations.
Familiarity with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and payroll compliance requirements.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing or FMCG companies.
Knowledge of attendance and timekeeping systems.
Professional certification in Payroll, HR, or Finance is an advantage.
Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
