Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management Officer (PMO) to oversee and coordinate the company’s portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will ensure that projects are properly planned, monitored, prioritized, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor the overall project portfolio.
Establish and maintain portfolio-management processes and reporting.
Track project progress, budgets, timelines, risks, and key deliverables.
Monitor project KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management.
Coordinate between project managers, departments, and senior leadership.
Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Support prioritization and allocation of resources across projects.
Ensure projects remain aligned with strategic business objectives.
Maintain portfolio dashboards and management reports.
Support project governance and decision-making processes.
Identify delays, budget issues, and operational challenges and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare presentations and performance reports for senior management and the Board.
Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
7–10+ years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, project management, or a related field.
PMP, PMI-PgMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred.
Strong experience in project portfolio monitoring and reporting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies and tools.
Experience working with senior management and multiple business units.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience in a corporate or diversified group environment is preferred.
Knowledge of the Saudi business environment is preferred.
Must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
Valid Saudi Iqama is required.
Transferable Iqama is preferred.
Immediate or short-notice availability is an advantage.
