Description
We are opening a new American-style fast food restaurant and are looking for a professional Chef who should have a deep understanding of American cuisine, especially burgers, fries, fried chicken, sandwiches, and sides. The Chef will be responsible for developing a creative and consistent menu, creating signature recipes, and running all kitchen operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Should have experience in American fast food, especially gourmet burgers, fried items, and grilled dishes
Should be able to create a full menu, including signature burgers, sides, sauces, and beverages
Should have the ability to develop unique, marketable recipes that stand out
Should ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all food items
Should manage kitchen operations, inventory, staff scheduling, and cleanliness
Should maintain cost control and reduce food wastage
Should train and supervise kitchen staff for efficiency and quality
Should follow proper food safety and hygiene standards
Should assist in planning promotional items, seasonal specials, and combo meals
Should stay updated with fast food industry trends and customer preferences
Requirements:
Should have 3–5 years of experience as a Chef or Cook in an American-style restaurant or fast food outlet
Should have hands-on experience in burger patty making, marination, deep frying, and plating
Should have knowledge of kitchen equipment used in fast food setups (grills, fryers, prep tables, etc.)
Should have a strong sense of flavor, speed, and quality control
Culinary certification or training is a plus
Should be able to work under pressure and during peak hours
