Description

A reputed cleaning company in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in cleaning operations to oversee cleaning and janitorial operations at the project site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning services, ensuring site cleanliness, project budgets, scheduling and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This role requires setting up cleaning operations, scheduling, and resolving client concerns. A strong understanding of a cleaning project needs is ideal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement cleaning protocols for the job site, ensuring they comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise the organization and preparation of supplies and equipment for the project.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials are stocked and properly maintained for job site operations.
• Provide on-site leadership, ensuring all cleaning and sanitation work is executed to the highest standards.
• Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with the services provided.
• Supervise janitorial staff, ensuring they follow proper cleaning protocols and safety standards.
• Handle urgent requests or changes to cleaning schedules with a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
• Implement and maintain a quality assurance program to consistently meet and exceed cleanliness standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety training for janitorial staff. Investigate and report workplace accidents or incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Train, and manage a team of cleaning staff. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans.

Experience/Skills Requirement:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Managing Cleaning Contracts
• Able to Manage a multi-national staff 300 or more
• BICSc Certified, desirable
• NEBOSH/IOSH qualification, desirable
• Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft office
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
