Description
Role Objective:
Identify and connect with potential clients, build relationships, and generate new revenue streams. You will play a critical role in driving business growth and strengthening our position as a trusted logistics service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth: Prospect and identify potential clients for trucking, logistics, and freight forwarding services, focusing on ocean freight solutions.
Relationship Building: Establish, develop, and maintain positive client relationships through cold calls, client visits, and follow-ups.
Deals & Revenue: Manage RFQs, prepare quotes, and close deals to achieve account strike rates.
Market Insight: Provide feedback on market trends, competitor analysis, and insights for business strategy.
Post-Sales Support: Ensure smooth post-sales processes, including payment follow-ups.
Reporting: Send advisories, assist with reports, and contribute to presentations for market tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in logistics, specializing in freight forwarding and ocean freight.
- Behavioral Abilities: Presentable personality with strong oratory skills.
