Description
We invite applications for the position of Salesman for a Gift shop.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for retail, and a strong ability to connect with customers, helping them find the perfect gift.
As a Salesman, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and supporting the daily operations of the shop.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers with product selection, offering recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the store's products, including seasonal items, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash or card payments.
• Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing, including arranging displays and keeping shelves neat.
• Answer customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Assist in stock-taking and inventory management.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves, restocking items, and performing regular stock checks.
• Assist with store opening and closing duties.
Handle product returns or exchanges in line with store policy.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, ideally in a gift shop, boutique, or similar environment.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Arabic language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and work as part of a team.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for gifts, home d?cor, and personal accessories is a plus!
