Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations specific to the events and marketing industry, including supplier costs, project-based accounting, asset tracking, and expense allocations.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Oversee and coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit processes.

Ensure full compliance with Bahrain’s VAT and accounting regulations, including timely VAT filings.

Handle Saudi Arabia’s VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and other regulatory compliance requirements.

Manage activities related to the Fatoora e-invoicing portal and keep up-to-date with GAZT/ZATCA guidelines.

Supervise payroll, asset management, reconciliations, and other day-to-day financial transactions.

Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts in coordination with management.

Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and controls.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an added advantage.

Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the events and marketing industry.

Strong knowledge of Bahrain & Saudi Arabia tax laws, including VAT, Zakat, and WHT.

Familiarity with Fatoora e-invoicing and local accounting compliance tools/portals.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, or other ERP systems).

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across borders.
