Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Shawarma Chef who can prepare high-quality Arabic, Lebanese, and Turkish shawarma, as well as make fresh bread and a variety of sauces. The ideal candidate should have strong cooking skills, experience in shawarma preparation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook Arabic, Lebanese, and Turkish style shawarma (chicken, beef, or mixed).
• Marinate meats using traditional recipes and ensure consistent flavor.
• Grill, slice, and assemble shawarma sandwiches and plates.
• Prepare fresh bread (such as saj, pita, or tannour) daily.
• Make a variety of homemade sauces, including garlic sauce, tahini, chili, yogurt sauces, etc.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient levels and assist with inventory management.
• Ensure high-quality food presentation and portion control.
• Support kitchen operations during busy hours and coordinate with team members.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Middle Eastern street food or restaurant kitchens.
• Ability to create new menu items or improve existing recipes.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and kitchen organization
