Description
Job Summary
The Surveyor is responsible for performing all site surveying activities including setting out, levels, alignment, and quantity measurements for road infrastructure projects. The role ensures accurate data collection and supports proper execution of construction works in accordance with design drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out setting out works for roads, structures, and utilities as per approved drawings
Conduct leveling, alignment, and topographic surveys on-site
Establish and verify benchmarks, control points, and reference lines
Perform quantity measurements and calculations for earthworks and construction activities
Prepare and maintain survey reports, sketches, and field notes
Ensure accuracy of survey data and assist in resolving site discrepancies
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and consultants for survey requirements
Operate and maintain surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Leveling equipment)
Assist in preparing as-built surveys and documentation
Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Support progress tracking and verification of completed works
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying
Minimum 5 years of experience in road or infrastructure surveying
Strong knowledge of setting out, leveling, and alignment techniques
Proficiency in using surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level)
Experience in quantity surveying and field measurements
