Role Summary

We are seeking a technically sharp Technical Assistant to support our Technical Engineer. This role bridges engineering production and sales enablement. AutoCAD Drafting: Draw and revise detailed 2D architectural/structural shop drawings for various joint configurations (floor-to-floor, seismic, corner joints, and junctions).

Load Calculations: Perform structural load and movement calculations to verify profile performance against thermal and seismic shifts.

Sales Training Decks: Create technical presentation decks for new and existing products, and conduct internal workshops to teach the sales team about product applications and certifications.

Project Tracking: Manage the submittal register, track consultant comments, and prepare response sheets to close open loops.

Qualifications & Education

Education: Bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical Engineering OR a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) with 7+ years of experience.

Experience: 3–5 years in expansion joints, architectural metal profiles, or firestop systems in the GCC region.

Technical Skills: Advanced 2D AutoCAD, strong command of MS Excel/PowerPoint, and familiarity with international standards (ASTM, UL, SBC).

Material Knowledge: Working understanding of aluminum alloys (6061-T6, 6063-T6), stainless steel, and EPDM rubber.

Language: Flawless professional written and spoken English.

Status: Must currently reside in KSA with a Transferable Iqama.
