Description
We are seeking an experienced Welfare Manager to oversee and enhance workforce welfare programs across construction and contracting projects, ensuring employee well-being, compliance, and high standards of accommodation and welfare services.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,Business Administration, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in employee welfare, camp management, workforce services, or a related role.
Proven experience within the Construction and Contracting industry is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of labor welfare regulations, worker accommodation standards, and employee engagement practices.
Experience managing large multicultural workforces and site-based employees.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to develop and implement welfare programs and initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and well-being.
Proficient in preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage employee welfare programs across projects and sites.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, welfare standards, and company policies.
Oversee worker accommodation, transportation, catering, recreation, and welfare facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of camps and welfare facilities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Act as the focal point for employee welfare concerns and provide timely resolutions.
Coordinate with project teams, HR, HSE, administration, and subcontractors to enhance workforce well-being.
Monitor employee satisfaction and recommend initiatives to improve morale and engagement.
Manage welfare budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of welfare services.
Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic welfare performance reports.
Investigate welfare-related complaints and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Support workforce retention initiatives through effective welfare management.
Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and employee care.
