Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems on heavy equipment and Supertrucks 6x6. The mechanic must demonstrate a proven track record of mechanical work on diesel heavy equipment and hydraulic systems within a workshop environment to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair hydraulic system issues on heavy equipment
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on hydraulic components.
Troubleshoot hydraulic failures using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Conduct repairs on pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and other hydraulic parts.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and quality procedures.
Assist in ordering parts and managing workshop inventory.
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic with heavy equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working with diesel engines and heavy trucks is preferred.
Technical certifications or diplomas related to hydraulics or heavy equipment repair.
Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a workshop environment with heavy machinery.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and hydraulic testing equipment.
Knowledge of diesel engine mechanics is advantageous.
