Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with management on day-to-day financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
* Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations
* Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
* Coordinate with auditors and support during audits
* Prepare VAT filings and statutory submissions (as applicable in Bahrain)
* Provide regular financial updates and insights to management
* Maintain proper documentation and filing systems

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in Bahrain or the GCC is an advantage
