Description

SATESCO – Saudi Technical Supply Company Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) to strengthen and expand our business with leading government, utility, and industrial organizations across Saudi Arabia.

This role is ideal for professionals who already have experience working with or serving major government and industrial clients and possess strong professional relationships within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities with government and industrial clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, and End-User departments.
Generate qualified business opportunities by leveraging existing professional networks.
Identify upcoming tenders, shutdowns, maintenance contracts, and project opportunities.
Coordinate with internal commercial, procurement, and technical teams to prepare competitive proposals.
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and understand future procurement plans.
Promote SATESCO's capabilities in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Safety, and MRO supplies.
Support vendor registration and maintain approved vendor status with key customers.
Prepare sales forecasts, business development reports, and opportunity pipelines.
Achieve agreed business growth and revenue targets.

Other Government Entities, Utilities & EPC Contractors
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong track record of working with government and industrial organizations in Saudi Arabia.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to identify, develop, and close business opportunities.
Experience with industrial, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, or oil & gas products.
Good understanding of procurement processes, tendering, vendor registration, and contract management.
Technical knowledge of international procurement and OEM/vendor management is an advantage.
Familiarity with SAP, SAP Ariba, Oracle, and Etimad Portal is an advantage.
Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an added advantage.
