Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with the principles and requirements of the organization's Integrated Management System (IMS) aligned with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide recommendations for adjustments to company policies and practices.
Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance-related policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures. o Ensure policies are communicated effectively across all levels of the organization.
Training and Awareness: Organize and conduct compliance training programs for employees to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour.
Incident and Risk Management: Investigate reported compliance breaches and ensure prompt corrective actions are taken.Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
Liaison with Regulators: Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies , responding to inquiries and ensuring timely submission of required documentation. o Serve as the primary point of contact for all external auditors conducting audits of the organization, ensuring clear and efficient communication throughout the process. Coordinate with relevant departments to gather and provide accurate, comprehensive documentation required for external audits, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
Audit Execution:

Plan and conduct comprehensive audits of all departments every six months toassess adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, industry standards and also identify the risk and opportunities of each department.
Develop detailed audit plans, checklists, and schedules tailored to each department’s operations.
Work with department heads to implement corrective actions based on audit findings and assess their effectiveness over time.
Document findings, prioritize risks, and provide actionable recommendations for compliance improvements.
Reporting:

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for remediation.
Present audit results to senior management, including observations and areas for improvement.
Follow up to ensure corrective actions and recommendations are implemented effectively.
Support to the HR department

Support HR in ensuring that HR policies, employee contracts, and organizational practices meet compliance requirements and labour laws.
Assist in reviewing and implementing HR-related policies and procedures to ensure they adhere to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide expertise and support for employee training programs, not limited to compliance-related topics, but also covering broader training needs such as professional development, leadership, workplace ethics, anti-harassment, and data privacy.
Contribute to HR initiatives by integrating compliance considerations into these activities.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree/ Masters in Law or HR . Certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional), or ISO Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management roles, HR operations and auditing.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry. Familiarity with ISO standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in compliance software and tools.
